BLACK STUDIOS is seeking a talented In-House Editor to join our creative team. You’ll work on a variety of projects, including commercials, music videos, short films, and digital content, ensuring high-quality post-production that aligns with our brand’s vision.
About the Role
Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging content. Collaborate with directors, producers, and creatives to achieve the desired narrative and style. Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet technical/creative standards. Opportunity to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What You’ll Need
A strong portfolio/showreel (submit a 1-minute sample with your application). Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro). Creative storytelling skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to feedback.
Responsibilities
Edit video content, including color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics integration. Organize and manage media assets efficiently. Implement feedback from stakeholders while maintaining creative integrity. Stay updated on editing trends, tools, and techniques.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2+ years of professional editing experience.
- Mastery of pacing, timing, and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of codecs, formats, and export settings.
Preferred:
- Experience with After Effects (basic motion graphics).
- Background in music videos, branded content, or short films.
Tools & Software
- Primary: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve.
- Secondary: After Effects, Photoshop, Audition.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Frame.io, Trello) is a plus.
