JOB OPENING:
“THE DEVIL WEARS A SUNDAY HAT”

Logline: A woman’s life is thrown into turmoil when a devastating medical diagnosis leads her to push away the man she loves, only to discover that the truth is not what it seemed.
We are seeking talented and emotionally resonant actors for the following roles:

MAKEUP ARTIST
Production: “The Devil Wears a Sunday Hat”
Contract: Freelance / Project-Based
Application:

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute all makeup looks for principal actors, aligning with the director’s vision and character arcs.

* Create a distinct visual language for each character’s “Sunday” persona (flawless, polished, almost mask-like) versus their true, private self (which can range from weary and stressed to sinister and unhinged).

* Handle special makeup effects, including subtle signs of psychological stress (sleeplessness, anxiety), and potentially more pronounced effects for key dramatic scenes.

* Manage the makeup budget, inventory, and kit, ensuring continuity across shooting days.

* Work collaboratively with the Costume Stylist and Director of Photography to ensure a cohesive visual narrative.

We’re Looking For Someone With:
* A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility, particularly in creating both polished beauty looks and character-driven/psychological makeup.

* Experience in film or high-end television production.

* Proficiency in special FX makeup is a major plus.

* An understanding of how makeup translates on camera under different lighting conditions.

* A collaborative spirit, professionalism, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

* A passion for storytelling through the craft of makeup.

What We Offer:
* A competitive rate and a clear credit on an ambitious project.

* A collaborative and creative working environment.

* The opportunity to have your work featured on a platform associated with Nollywood Masterclass.

COSTUME STYLIST
Production: “The Devil Wears a Sunday Hat” (Kreative Station Production in association with Nollywood Masterclass)

Contract: Freelance / Project-Based
Application

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a comprehensive costume bible for all main characters, charting their sartorial journey throughout the film.

* Source, acquire, fit, and manage all costumes for the production.

* Define the visual contrast: the impeccable, coordinated, often restrictive “Sunday Best” wardrobe vs. the characters’ more revealing, comfortable, or disheveled “at-home” or “true self” wardrobe.

* Use color, fabric, and silhouette to tell the story (e.g., the transition from bright, light-colored “Sunday” outfits to darker, richer, or more muted tones as the story darkens).

* Manage the costume budget, rentals, and purchases, and ensure continuity.

* Work closely with the Makeup Artist and Director to create a unified visual language.

We’re Looking For Someone With:
* A stellar portfolio that shows a strong sense of character, narrative, and style.

* Proven experience in film or fashion styling, with an ability to tell stories through clothing.

* Excellent knowledge of sourcing, from high-end boutiques to vintage markets, within a set budget.

* A keen eye for detail, color theory, and how fabrics and shapes work on camera.

* Strong organizational and communication skills.

* A deep understanding of the film’s themes and a passion for using costume as a key storytelling tool.

What We Offer:
* A competitive rate and a clear credit on an ambitious project.

* A platform to showcase innovative and narrative-driven styling.

* A collaborative creative environment with a clear vision.

* Association with the Nollywood Masterclass brand.
